We have a vacancy within our Export Sales team for a professional Sales Account Manager to help us further develop our distributor network throughout the world. Working closely with distributor partners in key export markets, the successful applicant will drive sales growth, ensuring commitment to, and support of, Meridian’s selective distribution policy.

This role will make a significant contribution to Meridian’s overall sales success.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Account management experience, ideally in an export environment
• Knowledge of the function of a distributor network
• Proven ability to manage own workload and demonstrate a high level of self motivation
• Some degree of technical awareness and an interest in the latest technologies
• A desire to succeed
• Willingness to travel

Responsible for operating various aspects of Meridian’s service process, including repairing and servicing product in-house and ensuring efficient supply of parts to our distribution network. The position makes an important contribution to Meridian’s overall customer support provision.

This is a customer-facing role in a fast-moving environment requiring flexibility and the ability to prioritise to meet the requirements of the business. Experience of communicating with overseas customers would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have experience of repairing electro-mechanical equipment including fault-finding to sub-assembly or component level. Previous work with audio equipment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
